Eldrive was established in 2015 in Bulgaria and is the largest charging infrastructure operator in the region, with the biggest public charging network featuring over 500 installed charging points.
In 2017, Eldrive and Shell Bulgaria signed a strategic partnership, resulting in the installation of 15 fast-charging stations at key Shell locations along Bulgaria’s major highways.
In 2020, Eldrive expanded into Romania and launched a long-term partnership with OMV in both Bulgaria and Romania, aiming to install over 30 fast-charging stations across the two countries.
By 2021, Eldrive continued its market expansion and network growth, surpassing 500 installed charging points.
