Praktiker, home and garden hypermarkets, were established in Germany and entered the Bulgarian market in 2004, quickly becoming one of the leading do-it-yourself retail chains in the country. In 2014, the Bulgarian company Videolux Holding, owner of Technopolis, acquired the entire business of Praktiker and began the development and modernization of the chain.
Praktiker provides a wide range of products in various categories, comfortable shopping, professional consultation and a variety of services to meet customers’ daily expectations.
Since its establishment in Bulgaria, the chain has operated 15 stores in 14 cities across the country. The company's plans include opening one new store in Haskovo in 2023.
